Talisadi Churnas Cough Management
Talisadi Churna is beneficial for both productive and non-productive coughs. Due to the high concentration of Misri (crystallised sugar lumps), it is especially beneficial in cases of non-productive cough.
However, Talisadi Churnas other constituents contain antitussive, mucolytic, and expectorant properties, making it beneficial in productive coughing as well.
Both diseases necessitate the correct use of adjuvant.
It should be taken with Ghee and honey if one has a dry cough (non-productive cough).
Acts as an alterative and expectorant. Indicated in chronic fever, dyspepsia, loss of appetite
Talispatra, Trikatu, Ela, Tavakshir, Dalchini & Mishri
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoonful with madhu twice a day.
